Aftercare
01. No Washing for 48 Hours: Avoid all water exposure for the first 48 hours to allow the keratin bonds to fully set and bond securely with your scalp.
02. Separate Bonds at the Root: Every morning, gently separate the bonds at the root using a fine-tooth comb to prevent tangles and maintain the natural curl pattern.
03. Curly Hair Brush Only Wet: Use a high-quality, wide-tooth extension brush only when wet to distribute moisture evenly and prevent dryness.
04. Keep Heat Off Bonds: Avoid heat styling, blow drying, or heat tools directly on the bonds to preserve the integrity of the handmade keratin bonds.
05. Braid for Sleep: Always braid your hair before sleeping to protect the bonds from friction and prevent shedding during the night.
06. Gym & Swimming: Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and intense gym workouts. If you must swim, always wear a swim cap and rinse with fresh water.

How long do K-tips last?
With proper care, your K-tips can last anywhere from 12 to 18 months. We recommend maintenance every 3 months to ensure your bonds remain healthy and your hair looks like it grew that way.
Is shedding normal?
Absolutely. Shedding 5 to 10 bonds per month is completely normal and expected. This is the natural process of your hair growing in and is a sign that your extensions are healthy and thriving.
Who should wait?
We recommend waiting 6 months after childbirth, chemotherapy, or GLP-1 medication. This allows your hair to fully recover and regrow before we begin the process of adding new length.
Can I color or heat style?
Yes, you can color and heat style your extensions, but we recommend using only a curly hair brush and avoiding high heat. We can provide you with specific care instructions for your hair type.

Yes. K-tips are the best method for curly and textured hair. We match the hair and bond placement to your curl pattern and density, for women and men.
ARE EXTENSIONS SAFE FOR THIN OR FINE HAIR?
Extensions can be safe for fine hair, but only a consultation can determine that. We need to see your density, scalp and the health of your hair before recommending a method or how much hair to add.
